Vitamin T is looking for an Event Coordinator for a global client in downtown Chicago! The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the company's overall corporate marketing and event management strategies. Assists with developing and implementing marketing campaigns; tracking data; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings, trade shows and events; maintaining databases; preparing reports. The Coordinator will support the event team in both domestic and international regions (between 500-1000 events annually)
Responsible for all internal requests for branded and promotional product, and coordinate development and implementation of incentive items for various departments
Assist with internal and external private functions/special events coordinated by the Global Brand Marketing team
Assist with content creation and content management on the website as well a coordinated social campaigns and digital banner placements promoting global events and campaigns.
Perform various administrative functions in support of Corporate Marketing colleagues.
Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and web-based search. Adobe Photoshop a plus.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or related discipline, or at least 2 years event and/or conference planning and execution experience.
Strong project management, written and oral communications skills. Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with online event registration and management tools
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment with quickly shifting priorities
