Job Description

Our enterprise cloud tech client is looking for an Employee Communication Specialist to join their IT Employee Experience Department. S/he will be a high-energy, self-starter with an established, documented competence in the project and product communications space.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Drive development of new content and improve process workflow to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency. 
  • Create internal campaigns to promote new features/capability of Employee Experience Portfolio – Portal, Bot, Search, Mobile. 
  • Actively engage in internal social media (Facebook, and Slack) to promote our content. 
  • Collect feedback from internal users via survey, focus sessions, and other forums and share it with development team 
  • Create content our executives will brief in EBC's, and use for sales and marketing. 
  • Interact directly with ServiceNow practitioners and represent their story in an authentic style while organizing the content efficiently for easy consumption to internal targeted audiences. 
  • Gain knowledge of our ServiceNow products and our internal adoption of those products. 
  • Manage creation and maintenance of Employee Experience communication materials, including: presentations, web content, case studies, video scripts, etc.
  • Support IT executives with ad-hoc requests for new content 

Must Haves:

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Thinks strategically, acts tactically, and possesses a strong ability to conceptualize, develop, drive, coordinate and manage a wide range of communications. 
  • Strong communications skills (both verbal/written), writing and editing education and experience. 
  • An independent self-starter and quick learner that is versatile in skillset and the ability to adjust to changing scope and schedule in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Shows the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to develop program-specific content – some of which is cross-product or multi-product related. 
  • Comfortable editing, participating in peer reviews, and ensuring editorial standards are met. 
  • Experience storytelling in the IT technology space (IT, Security, Enterprise Architecture, Mobile Apps and related digital business programs/apps) 
  • Experience with social media, is comfortable coaching and training others with their presentation skills and has wicked PowerPoint graphics and conceptualization skills.
