Email Marketing Associate
Our client is seeking an outstanding candidate to join their customer retention team as a CRM Associate. This role will help define the strategy to grow their business through growth and optimization of triggered and transactional email marketing. You will be relied upon to define and deliver consistent and compelling marketing programs that drive revenue for the channel. Moreover, you will continue to expand your expertise of email production, back-end processes, customer data analysis, and promotions strategy. Define and Manage CRM Promotional Calendar.
Define and launch CRM campaigns
Define and execute Multivariate Testing Strategy
Partner with Creative team to Define the Creative Design of Customer Communications
Manage Campaign Performance Tracking
Work Cross-Functionally as a marketing representative and serve as change manager for technology stream initiatives that affect CRM.
Streamline front end processes to improve site experience and customer segmentation.
Manage cross-functional triggered and transactional e-mail projects
Liaise between IT and Email Marketing departments translating technical email requirements into business requirements documents
Proactively drive and optimize triggered campaign performance to achieve traffic and revenue metrics including CTR, open rates, incremental revenue, conversion and retention
Manage back-end and data-driven email processes including coordination of creative and assets, approvals, campaign set-up, QA testing, deployment and monitoring of programs
Develop automated and dynamic campaigns to expand Lifecycle and Triggered Programs.
Create technical solutions and application tools to meet the requirements of email programs and marketing initiatives.
Develop scalable solutions to support increasing volume and complexity of campaigns.
Develop and optimize campaign functionality and processes as required to support new program and customer lifecycle flows.
Work heavily in ESP platform to automate and optimize operational processes.
Act as the subject matter expert on email campaign operations - distribute, communicate and apply best practices and learnings to continually improve results.
Provide ESP technical support and training to Email Team.
Manage cross-functional teams and project flow to support timely execution at all stages of campaign production
2-3 years of email marketing experience in a B2C industry
Must know Responsys
Working knowledge of HTML is a must; SQL (Nice to have)
Demonstrated understanding of relational databases and CRM systems
Experience with an Email Service Provider and related data flow
Strong project management skills
Experience with writing MS Excel formulas & macros (required)
Programming experience a plus
Experience setting-up campaigns on ESP platform
Exceptional work ethic, ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize and deliver multiple tasks on time
