Execution of email marketing campaigns, leading the day-to-day operations for our Art.com email program. This position has a key impact on sales revenue, driving the overall effectiveness of all email marketing programs. The position sits within the Marketing department and will interact with analytics, creative, merchandising, and marketing.

Duration: 3 months, starting ASAP (could turn into perm)

Oversee the day-to-day management of email marketing calendar and production of email campaigns from start to finish including creative trafficking, implementation, deployment, optimization, monitoring, reporting and analysis
Own email marketing calendar execution, email testing and operational details, and ensure accuracy in all aspects of the promotional email program
Work closely with merchandising teams, acting as a liaison for Marketing to accurately execute merchant offers into the email channel
Manage the email creative development process including gathering all inputs, brief writing, partnering with Creative on process, providing feedback, and proofing
Optimize existing campaigns with ongoing tests of customer segmentation, subject lines, time of send, content, landing pages, etc.
Translate customer insights into recommendations for cross functional partners
Leverage email best practices and testing results to improve the impact of email campaigns
Manage email reporting and keep dashboards up to date, verifying accuracy of all data prior to distribution
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
5+ years email marketing experience, preferably supporting initiatives for both offline and online businesses
Experience with Responsys or other ESP
Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, audience segmentation, customer databases, A/B Testing
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
