Job Description

Looking to hire a Corporate Events Planner to carry out key functions in the successful planning and execution of world-class corporate events. 

**Must have 3+ years of event planning and execution in a Corporate capacity AND experience using Registration Management software (any is okay)

This is a great opportunity if you want to be apart of a lean, but FUN team, where you will have a lot of responsibility. This is a temp role to start, 40 hours a week onsite in Costa Mesa through March 2019, but potential to go perm for the right person! 

Duties:

  • Work with vendors and hotels to host events ranging in size from 50 people to 900 people
  • Assist in developing and editing content for event website, event emails and other event collateral 
  • Create/manage event registration using registration software tools** 
  • Work with other internal event folks on budgets 
  • C​reate and manage timelines for corporate events
  • Work directly with management, outside vendors, resort management and clients
  • Provide onsite support at all major events when assigned

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years MINIMUM of event experience in a corporate environment
  • Able to travel 5+ times a year for onsite events and work overtime if needed 
  • Experience with using online registration management software is required
  • Familiarity with accounting and billing processes is preferred
  • Great energy, customer service skills and overall written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong project and time management skills – highly organized, detail focused, results driven, ability to handle stress and last-minute, urgent requests. ​
