Graphic Design Assistant (12 Month FTC)


Salary - £20k-£25k

Our client are a leading, global insurance provider based in Central London. Providing a range of cover for both individual and commercial clients, this company specialise in more niche areas of the market as well as providing cover across all the usual area.


Role Description

Our client are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join them as Design Assistant, working within the Brand and Design team to produce a mixture of both print and digital graphics across their global market. Responsibilities will vary day to day, from print production, working within templates, do designing more digitally focussed marketing assets and even corporate merchandising. Our client are looking for an enthusiastic young Designer, eager to get involved with all manor of projects, someone keen to learn more and develop their design skills.

Our client are looking for a talented individual to be a part of their busy team, who is comfortable working on multiple projects at once and able to prioritise accordingly. Requirements will involve jumping from more production based work, to designing within email templates using Dreamweaver, or putting together important documents and presentations.


Skills & Experience

Our client are looking for a young and enthusiastic Designer that has built up some good experience since leaving university. The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the Adobe CS with a portfolio to demonstrate. You will be comfortable working in a corporate environment on a variety of work across both print and digital, collaborating as part of a wider Design team.


Other skill include:

  • Basic knowledge of Dreamweaver
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Powerpoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of print production would be beneficial
