Job Description

Our client in Baltimore MD is looking for a B2C Director of Marketing! This is a permanent opportunity for a full-time position in Balitmore Maryland. Relocation available if you aren't currently in Baltimore MD!

We are seeking someone who is creative and organized, who will implement positive marketing initiatives for two brands! They've been in business for over two decades and this is an opportunity to take the companies to the next level up. The ideal candidate will be an effective collaborator and motivator who can lead the company to success. This is a private company and the team (albeit smaller scale), it's mighty - so it's imperative that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to delegate and track multiple ongoing projects and responsibilities simultaneously. They're in the wholesale space right now & this is a brand new position to lead (&execute on) taking the team direct to consumer. You'll have a base salary AND a competitive commission plan. **E-Commerce experience is a MUST**

Key Responsibilites:

  • Lead development and implementation of marketing, advertising, and sales initiatives
  • Develop, Embrace & Educate marketing team on brand identity
  • Lead product development, advertising campaigns and pricing strategies
  • Find innovative ways to connect with target audience(s)
  • Oversee social media marketing platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram to start)
  • Increase brand awareness and reach across multiple platforms
  • Direct analytical data gathering and marketing/consumer test strategies
  • Direct and oversee all design and advertising ventures
  • Stay current on market trends and new research
  • Create and adhere to marketing budgets
  • Build, train, and manage marketing team, including performance reviews
  • Present frequent progress reports to executives

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • 7+ years extensive experience in digital marketing, advertising and/or brand management
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite and various marketing softwares (Dynamics, Excel, CRM)
  • Sucessfully managed B2C spend of $30K+ per month (advertising spend example)
  • Proven dynamic leadership and project management skills
  • Impactful experience partnering with agencies 
  • Multi-initiative, multi-team management experience
  • Experience building out a team, managing & executing
  • Strategic, innovative and creative personality with a strong business acumen
  • A passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks
