A non-profit that promotes plant-based and clean meat alternatives to replace industrial animal products in our food system is seeking a Mid-Senior level Designer that specializes in Infographics.
Their scitech team has launched an incredible initiative to place focus on the ocean's role in our food system, and they need a dedicated designer to help design and produce compelling graphics to generate interest in that initiative, specifically geared towards a niche audience of funders and scientists.
Updating "Ocean of Opportunity" whitepaper. This paper has been designed and laid out in Word. Need to make minor edits.
Development of 1-page visual overview of the "Oceans" whitepaper (graphic/splashy intro of whitepaper) to generate interest
Development of 1-page visual overview of oceans problem/GFI solution (probs: degradation of the ocean, mercury in fish, plastic contamination)
Review and graphic assistance for three research papers. The template is already established. The designer would clean up the document and provide cover art and, if needed, supporting charts/graphs
Development of three 1-page visual overviews, similar to the above, for each of the research papers
We may need to repurpose some of the assets for web or other media
Timeline: Edits on "Oceans" whitepaper and copy for research papers will be final by January 23.
Start: The week of January 28th
They are expecting this project will take 80-100 hours of work over 2-3 weeks
Word (layout) *not as important, Scitech team has the documents, just may need to clean it up
