Our retail client is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to assist the Sr. Program Manager of the Digital Publishing Team with developing project objectives, deliverables, scopes, measurement plans and success criteria as well as identify all relevant stakeholders and assure technical feasibility. This person will sit in the Bellevue office, and the assignment is planned to go thru the end of the year with the possibility to convert to FTE.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Coordinating the necessary resources to execute projects
• Developing a project plan, timelines and milestones, and visually tracking project progress
• Addressing risks and dependencies to minimize impacts
• Managing change requests for projects that are in flight
• Identifying and reporting issues and escalating as needed
• Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Measuring and reporting on project performance
• Managing relationships with stakeholders
• Creating and maintaining project documentation

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:   

• 3-5 years of experience working in a Project Management role
• 3-5 years of experience with JIRA/Confluence
• Experience working with content and content management systems (publishing/journalism/media/marketing)
• Experience with Google Suite
• Experience with Office Suite (including PowerPoint)
• Analytics experience – needs to be able to help define, figure out how to measure and track KPIs for projects

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with LEAN (Yellow Belt or better would be great)
• Experience with Change Management tools/methodologies
• Experience with Software development
