My client is one of the biggest names in online travel, and they are looking for a Director Customer Marketing to join their team to cover a paternity leave for 3 months.
We are looking for extraordinary talent to join our Customer Marketing Team to establish an Insight function that is at the heart of everything we do.
You will champion and lead the embedding of ‘Customer Insight’ across the organisation, enabling the business to gain a deep understanding of the customer, providing insight that enables proposition and brand development and helping to craft a strategy that will improve the long-term health of our customer base.
You will use your extensive knowledge of customer insight and research techniques (both qualitative and quantitative) to actively explore, assemble and analyse data sets from across the business, drawing insightful conclusions and making actionable recommendations which keep the customer at the heart of everything we do.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
To be a customer advocate, helping the business to understand and connect with our customers at the overall and segment level
Skilled in gaining insights from multiple sources to inform strategy and deliver customer and business value
Experience defining and working with customer level segmentations
Good analytical skills, strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly
Ability to establish tangible actions from insight and drive delivery through a cross functional marketing team
Excellent logical thinking, communication skills and confident presenting a story to senior leaders
Ability to perform in a high-pressure, dynamic environment
High energy and can-do attitude
Curiosity and passion for making an impact for the customer
Understanding of digital marketing strategy and data platforms
Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Business / Economics
8 to 10 years’ experience in Insight or Customer Marketing disciplines
Strong analytical skills and exposure to research and analysis techniques
Proven attention to detail in dealing with complex projects and time-sensitive deliverables
Project management training, qualification or experience
Consultancy style level of presentations and experience with flexibility when dealing with different problems and senior leaders
Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Previous experience of leading a team and developing high potential individuals
