Job Description

Our client is seeking a Manager, Technical SEO to join their team! This role is responsible for mining data, understanding key consumer and business drivers and delivering results in clear and concise way that drives decision-making, strategy and execution

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compiling and analyzing SEO reports
  • Assist in the successful implementation of SEO tactics across all teams
  • Assist in the production of all SEO-related deliverables under the guidance of the Senior Manager
  • Project manage SEO efforts, bridging gaps between SEO, SEM, content and other marketing efforts
  • Guide SEO-related development tickets through spiking, sizing, grooming and engineering sprints working in collaboration with development pods in an agile environment
  • Continuously improve SEO skillset, staying up to date with shifts in the marketplace
  • Develop deep knowledge in the senior living space and how search drives decisions
  • Conduct keyword research, write optimized HTML tags, provide recommendations on internal linking, content implementation of structured data markup and other SEO best practices
  • Utilize tools like Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console and understand findings
  • Analyze performance data and implement optimizations to increase ROI of SEO campaigns
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by manager

 

Required Skills and Competencies

  • 2-4 yrs experience in SEO working on large websites
  • Deep understanding of evolving best practices and technical aspects of crawling, indexing, ranking and driving qualified organic traffic
  • Experience with keyword research, information architecture, URL taxonomy, competitive market trends, search engine algorithms and ranking factors
  • Experience with a wide range of CMS platforms, strong knowledge of HTML, DOM, server Responses
  • Working knowledge of structured data schemas and rich snippets
  • Understanding of internal linking, keyword usage and semantic analysis
  • Familiarity with CSS, JavaScript frameworks, regular expressions
  • Experience with site scrawlers and log file analysis, and a wide variety of SEO tools such as SEMRush, OnCrawl, SearchMetrics, Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Search Console
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics or similar web analytics products, Microsoft Excel
  • Experience conducting correlation and variance analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of mobile, video, local and international SEO

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
