Job Description

UX Researcher Needed - Global Tech - 12 month Contract.

Our client is a leading company within the Global Tech industry who is looking to recruit a UX Researcher within their Product Security Team. This position is based in central based in London. In this position, and the ideal researcher will have the opportunity to work closely with the the Product Security teams to perform research that will directly help in developing innovative, user-friendly, best-of-breed products.

You will be;

  • Partnering closely with Product Protect teams to plan, execute and present research that will drive product changes and ensure product excellence
  • Applying the appropriate research methodology as needed. Research methods could include lab studies, remote online unmoderated testing, RITE methodology, interviews, surveys and field research
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data
  • Create written and visual reports (including creating graphs, highlight videos, screen shots, slide decks, etc.)
  • Set up and operate user research lab equipment
  • Participate in product discussions, design reviews with teams
  • Lead research planning in collaboration with UXD and product teams
  • Provide suggestions to improve current best research practices
  • Ensure effective communication of research findings and insights
  • Travel could be expected

Ideally, you will have. 

  • Qualifications BA/BS or Graduate Degree in: in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Information Science, Anthropology or other relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in user research role Understands basic (user experience) research methods Skilled at conducting in­-person interviews. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills Comfortable with and skilled at analyzing large qualitative datasets (e.g., interview videos, transcripts, open­-ended survey responses) Understands basic statistical concepts. 
  • Detail oriented and ability to work fairly independently on research Experience with project management and overseeing project logistics
  • Can prioritize time between multiple projects and be flexible to changing schedules and project roadmaps Interest in building/advancing a career in user experience research. 


  • Experience with testing on mobile devices
  • Experience with remote testing services (e.g., UserZoom, UserTesting, Validately) 
  • Experience with survey analysis and other quantitative method.
