Manager & Associate Manager level roles available.

The candidate must reside in Chicago, IL and be able to work in office with the project team weekly as needed. Only Chicago-based candidates will be considered. 

Job Description: 
The single biggest priority for our client in 2019 is driving awareness, buzz and traffic among clients to their network of Innovation Hubs. For this role you will be working with the Marketing Leaders for North America and be responsible for helping develop and implement their innovation marketing strategy, content and campaigns across multiple cities and across all operating groups. Collaborating with global, regional and local marketers, you will design and execute programs that deliver relevant and engaging client experiences. 
Metrics driven, you will challenge status quo and creatively combine traditional and digital marketing channels to help us to break through the noise and engage attention-starved C-level executives with largely under-appreciated capabilities in the “innovation” space. You measure success not only in share of voice or content consumed but hold yourself accountable for driving pipeline and revenue, naturally partnering with sales and account management to maximize campaign impact. No stranger to complex matrix organizations, you will build bridges and persevere in collaborating across groups to integrate marketing efforts, presenting one unified brand to potential and existing clients. 
Successful candidates for this individual contributor role will demonstrate experience in: 
• Developing and executing marketing plans that are informed by data, don’t default to following the “beaten path” and, most importantly, deliver impact 
• Integrating demand generation programs across digital/social, events, tele, direct mail 
• High-touch account-based marketing targeting senior decision makers 
• Effectively teaming across complex organizations 
• Working with senior stakeholders on a daily basis 
• Excellence in the content creation process (writing briefs, working with agencies) to deliver disruptive content 
• At times, managing large multi-client events with diligence and success 
• Background in B2B professional services a bonus 
As an individual, you are a pragmatic, metrics-driven self-starter with a strong bias for action. You are high energy and adept at juggling competing priorities. Fluency in English and the self-assurance and diplomacy required for managing senior stakeholders are must-have’s too. 
• Contribute to North America marketing strategy for Innovation
• Own execution of marketing campaigns driving awareness and demand, incl. 
o Events (national to regional, large to intimate) 
o Immersive experiences 
o Paid media/search/social 
o Social media 
o Telemarketing 
o Sales enablement 
• The above requires strong collaboration with: 
o marketing entities (corporate, geographies/regions, target industries, target functions, offerings) 
o approved agencies 
o senior business stakeholders (target industries, target functions, offerings) 
• Measure impact and continuously optimize campaigns and their execution 
• Manage budgets 
• Adhere to applicable policies and procedures 
• Bachelor's Degree 
• 7+ years of marketing or business development experience 
• Fluency in English 
• Chicago area based (commutable) 
Demonstrated experience in: 
• Using CRM and Marketing Automation Tools, ideally Salesforce 
• Background in B2B professional services a bonus 
Personality traits: 
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player instincts 
• Connector skilled in getting things done across complex matrix organizations 
• Proven “scrappiness” and problem-solving skills 
• Curiosity and natural inclination to challenge status-quo
